Latest Statement: We Stand Against The Repressive Laws in Afghanistan

The laws imposed by the Taliban on women in Afghanistan remain severe and enforced. We stand against the repressive law the Taliban are enforcing in Afghanistan which removes women from public life, preventing them from using transport on their own, speaking or showing any part of their face in public alongside many other forms of oppression.

We are extremely concerned about the safety and well-being of women and girl children in Afghanistan as a result of this new law posing further breach of their human rights. The oppressive laws in Afghanistan need to be overturned, and the women and girls of Afghanistan must be granted their fundamental rights to live freely. “We are not free until all women are free.”
