Treebeard Trust awards multi-year grant to support the work of The Vavengers

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with yet another incredible funding organisation; Treebeard Trust. The multi-year grant by Treebeard Trust will increase the capacity of The Vavengers and allow the team to work on our three key strategic areas of work; education, campaigning and direct support.

Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting is notoriously underfunded, to have long-term resources from a funding body is an incredible step towards improving support in the sector. Treebeard’s recognition of our work is a firm acknowledgement of the 200 million women and girls living with the effects of FGM/C and the further 63 million at risk.

Treebeard Trust supports transformational initiatives which have the potential to create a healthier planet and a fairer society.
