The Vavengers is a UK-based charity that exists to end Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). Since our beginning – 7 years ago, 3 as an official charity – we have utilised creative communication (events and arts) and community collaboration to educate and campaign around FGM/C and VAWG.

Our work now takes 3 forms:
• Community outreach hubs in the UK that support vulnerable woman’s physical, psychological, and legal needs with a focus on FGM/C and VAWG
• Educational workshops about FGM/C and VAWG with businesses and organisations, including healthcare professionals
• National and international campaigns to ensure FGM/C and VAWG is on the political and social agenda
